Allure
I love Allure's Best of Beauty lists, especially when they focus on affordable products.
There are several items on this year's The Best of Beauty: Cheap Thrills list that made it into my Spending Book. The next time I'm at Target or CVS, I'll be on the lookout for them.
- St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Body Scrub - $5.69
- Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - $6
- L'Oreal Paris EverSleek Sulfate-Free Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner - $6.99 each
To see all 27 items that made the list, read the article at http://bit.ly/rlWcOQ

Daily Glow
This is brilliant! For all the Beauty Product Junkies out there, a subscription to Birchbox will save you thousands of dollars a year!
Start by signing up at Birchbox.com, where you will pay $10 per month to receive a box of four to five high-end beauty samples that are chosen for you based on a beauty profile you fill out when you sign up. The brands featured in past boxes include Benefit, Nars, Phyto, Smashbox, Stila and so much more.
I have worked with coaching clients who easily spend several hundred dollars a month trying new products. With a $10 subscription to Birchbox, you will receive a monthly package of "chosen for you" products. It's like a cross between the makeup counter at Nordstrom and Santa Claus! I'm not a product junky and I'm even thinking of joining!

Real Simple
New beauty products are launched all the time, but these items continue to be favorites. I may have to pick up OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark nail polish. What a gorgeous color! To balance it out, I think I'll also pick up Essie's Nail Polish in Mademoiselle for those times I want a more natural look.
