After college, I got a job working retail - selling hip women's clothing. I figured it made sense to work where I loved shopping – take advantage of the employee discount while getting experience under my belt. I was very successful and moved up the corporate ladder. With each promotion, there were more expectations on me to "look the part" and "dress for the position you want, not what you have."
